Most people will take a bus going from Kathmandu to Pokhara and change in Dunre. In 1987 a road was build from here to Besisahar, wich shortens the trek for about 3 days. Since 2000 there also direct buses from Kathmandu to Besishahar and the road has now a hard cover.
