Dzong, Kali Gandaki, Chaingur
On the northside of the valley leading down from Muktinnath to Kagbeni, there are two wonderful villages, Dzong and Chaingur. you can visit them either from Muktinath or Jharkot and its
really worth to spend an extra day. In Dzong you will find a marvellous Gompa and every time I went to Dzong the village people where having some religous feast or prozession.

The little monk of Dzong
When we visited the Gompa, the little monk showed us everything, but then He had to hurry to the village. Because there was not enaught rain in the winter, the village peopöe
held a big prozession begging for it. They carried big and heavy Prayers books all aroud the fields belonging to the village and the monks had to blow their trumpethorns.
I was completelyout of breath, trying to follow even the old women, they where just running to fast for me!
