Nepal, Trekking round the Annapurnas, Jomsom Compared to Kagbeni or the lower villages, Jomsom is not really special. you will find the administration for the mustangdistrict and more important the airport, wich is only suited for little STOL (Short Take OFF and Landing) planes.
Inside the little Stol planes one feels like in the olde times. They are pretty narow and very noisy. The planes are flying far below the mountains, so that you will not see tomany of them, but sometimes its a spectacular 20 min flight. When there are turbulences you feel like an rodeo-cowboy, Coming from Pokhara, the first sight of the Nilgiri is just breathtaking
