Langtang valley: 3 Kangjin gompa; 4 Langtang und am Trisuli 5 Syabru Bensi
red-mountains: 1 Shishapangma; 2 Langtang lirung; 3 Ganesh
Three affluents join to form the trisuli river in the form of a trident or trisul. The trisuli is the sign of Shiva and he is veneratet at the lakes of Gosaikund nearby.
